•On a casual run to the liquor store, I came across St. George Spiced Pear Liqueur and bought a bottle out of curiosity. The stuff is literally Fall in a bottle. It's aromatic, spicy and warm with a bit of sweetness. When I see literally one leaf fall, I'm reaching for this for my fall-inspired cocktails.
I whipped up a rum sour using the stuff and threw in a few dashes of Bittermens Xocolatl Mole Bitters to really ~set it off~.
The Recipe
- 1 ½ oz rum
- ½ oz St. George Spiced Pear Liqueur
- 1 oz lemon juice
- ½ oz demerara syrup
- dash of Bittermens Xocolatl Mole bitters
- 1 egg white
Combine all ingredients in a shaker, without ice. Dry shake until the egg white is frothy. Add ice then shake again until the drink is chilled. Strain into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with a pear slice.
